Wusthof WAGFG Cooking School featuring Chef Danny Feng and Phil Clark from Fins Seafood, presented by Austral Fisheries

It’s the ultimate seafood lovers class; a ticket to the Wusthof WAGFG Cooking School at European Concepts featuring Chef Danny Feng and Phil Clark from Fins Seafood, presented by Austral Fisheries.

Danny’s career highlights include working at an array of hatted restaurants, starting from his former years in Japan at two Michelin star restaurants – Narisawa, before moving local where Danny has worked under the acclaimed WA Chef Jed Gerrard as Chef De Cuisine at COMO The Treasury venues including WA Good Food Guide Restaurant of the Year 2017, Wildflower, Post, and most recently Executive Chef for Hearth Restaurant & Lounge at the Ritz-Carlton Perth

The class will start with a demonstration by chef Feng of one of his favourite, more complex seafood dishes. Guests will settle in over a glass of WA wine or beer and get to know the duo as they talk through the intricacies of the dish, which will be the starter course for the evening.

Then it's time to apron up! Chef will then step you through two dishes using the phenomenal Glacier 51 toothfish (often referred to as the wagyu of the ocean) and Skull Island Prawns, as Clark provides an informative overview of the provenance of the products.

You’ll finish the class with a shared meal at the bench, then a dessert prepared by chef Feng.
