The chef behind the winner of WAGFG Restaurant of the Year 2018, Regional Restaurant of the Year 2019 and Regional Chef of the Year 2019 - introducing Seth James from Wills Domain.

Wills Domain’s Restaurant Of The Year award in 2018 was clearly no fluke. The inventiveness and originality of chef Seth James’ dishes are almost without parallel in Western Australia. And in the past year chef James and his serious-minded, highly skilled team has further cemented a claim to be one of WA’s, and Australia’s, top kitchens.

Chef James' food quietly displays a high level of technical skill and virtuosity and yet is likeable and approachable.

In this 2.5 hour cooking class, with matching wines from the Wills vineyard, chef James will start the class with some signature Wills Domain snacks while chatting all things truffle season with WAGFG's Georgia Moore. Chef James will then wow with a demonstration of one of his more complex truffle dishes, with plenty for the class to try at the end of part one of this very special class.

Part two will see the class cook two of Chef James' favourite truffle-at-home dishes, one of these being an asian dish, which James regularly enjoys cooking at home for friends.

The class will end with a dessert prepared that morning, featuring - you guessed it - truffles!

Only 16 places are available - the class includes snacks, an entree, the creation of two of your own dishes and a shared dessert around the chefs bench. Wills Domain wines are included in the ticket price, as well as a non-alcoholic option; Margaret River's OVANT distillation cocktails.
