Struggling to maintain grace and good humour amidst daily potholes and pitfalls? Author and essayist Brigid Lowry may be just the warm, wise, and witty companion you need. To start the day with a positive vibe, Brigid will be joined by musician Michael Done to explore how wisdom, gratitude and loving kindness to ourselves and others can help us thrive.

Brigid Lowry has an MA in Creative Writing, and has published both poetry and short fiction for adults, as well as 8 prize-winning books for teenagers. Her two essay collections are published by Fremantle Press: Still Life With Teapot: On Zen, Writing and Creativity and A Year of Loving Kindness to Myself, and Other Essays. Her current work combines Buddhism, the psychology of healing, self-help, memoir and humour, and aims to inspire anyone who is struggling in difficult times, or who wants to live with more ease and equanimity.

An accomplished guitarist, singer and songwriter, Michael Done has a special interest in Indian devotional singing.  His version of the traditional Hindu chant "Lokaha Samasta" enjoys huge international popularity.
