A deep sense of community will draw travellers to Barcaldine for our Outback Exchange on Wednesday 12 May. Artists, travellers and locals come together for a gathering of stories, songs, and ideas from across Outback Queensland.

Meet the storytellers who call this vast part of the country home, and discover how distance, landscape, community and history shape the art made here.

At the heart of the Exchange is a conversation about Legacy: what makes artists from Outback Queensland different, what has been passed down through generations, and what more can we do to create the artists of tomorrow?

Tickets to the Outback Exchange are available as a single event or if you're joining us for the full journey along the Outback Trail, this event is included in the Trail Traveller Super Pass.
