History and heritage lead us to Blackall for the all-new Blackall Bush Dance on Tuesday 11 May for an evening where the traditions of the Australian bush come alive through music and dance within the historic Blackall Woolscour.

Against the timber, tin and machinery of Australia’s last remaining steam-powered woolscour, the premier bluegrass and bush band, The Smashing Bumpkins, will strike up the strings and call the dances. With fiddles flying and boots hitting the floor, they’ll lead you through the traditional steps, reels and bush dance calls that have brought communities together for generations.
