Strengthening Volunteer Capacities: Tackling Discrimination with Policy Innovation and AI

12:30pm, Wed 23rd Oct 2024 - 03:00pm, Wed 23rd Oct 2024

Join us for an interactive workshop exploring how technology can combat discrimination and hate in community sports. We will introduce a pioneering project that co-creates policy templates and develops a supportive Large Language Model (LLM) to streamline anti-discrimination efforts. This tool standardises responses, enhances decision-making, and eases volunteer workloads. Whether you're a policy leader or involved at the grassroots level, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to shape solutions that can transform community sports and set a new standard for inclusivity at all levels.

Presenters: Dr Carleigh Yeomans, Dr Paul Bowell, Dr Katherine Raw and Dr Ryan Storr

Lunch provided from: 12:30PM
Workshop commences: 1:00PM
