This summer, the Quarry Amphitheatre becomes a celebration of the golden age of soul as Stax of Motown – The Ultimate Soul Celebration takes you back to the music that changed the world.

From the polished sound of Detroit’s Motown to the raw, southern soul of Memphis and Stax Records, experience an unforgettable night featuring the music of Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, The Temptations, The Supremes, Sam & Dave, Wilson Pickett and many more.

This is more than a concert.

From the moment you arrive, step into the world of classic soul — the energy, the atmosphere and, most importantly, those incredible songs.

Backed by a powerhouse live band and featuring some of Perth’s finest soul voices, expect stunning vocals, horns, grooves and classics including Signed, Sealed, Delivered, My Girl, Respect, (Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay, Mustang Sally, Ain't no mountian high and many more.

When the band launches into those unmistakable Stax and Motown grooves, don’t expect to stay in your seat—this is music made for dancing!

Gather your favourite people, bring a picnic and drinks, and settle in beneath the stars as the Quarry comes alive with the soundtrack of a generation.  Prefer to leave the picnic at home? Food and drinks are available from the onsite Limestone Café, including pre-ordered picnic hampers.

• Doors open: 6:00pm
• First act: 7:00pm
• Event concludes: approx. 10pm
• Seating:  Tickets give you access to a particular seating zone rather than an allocated spot.  When you arrive, simply choose any available spot within the zone shown on your ticket.

🌿 The Quarry Experience

• The Quarry Amphitheatre offers a unique outdoor concert experience, with tiered lawn terraces set against dramatic limestone walls and surrounding bushland.
• Patrons seated on the lawn may bring a picnic blanket or low-back chair.
  Please note that high-back chairs are not permitted, as they may obstruct the view of other guests.

🎟️ Ticket Zones

Choose from three unreserved ticket zones:

• Premium Lawn — Rows AAA–D:  Front lawn terraces, closest to the stage
• General Lawn — Rows E–P:  Main tiered lawn terraces
• Row O Seating:  Fold-down stadium-style seating with step-free access from the car park.  Suitable for accessible needs or wheelchair guests.

PLEASE NOTE: Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend arriving early if you have a preferred position or would like your group to sit together.
