Join us for a Spring-time dinner, Peoples Cafeteria style, with fresh bread, fresh produce, and an even fresher take on eastern European samplings on the menu. Tip to toe, using all West Aussie produce. Get some state on your plate.

Rose Mallee braised beef with wholemeal noodles

This ones an iteration of the soviet goose noodles recipe found in Olia Hercules cookbook Mamushka, ours is much the same but we will be braising beef on onion and carrots

 

Lachie’s perfect Linley Valley Pork shashlik

Lachie holds this close to his heart, he says it’s the ultimate treat. Although a simple recipe, the execution of ingredients and cooking skill works to produce the perfect skewer.

Lachie has mastered this through making many a shashlik with his boy Monty over the charcoals

 

Stuffed cabbage w/ kasha in tomato sauce

A Peoples archived dish, a return from the grave because it's absolute Peoples and absolutely delicious

Seasonal spring vegetable chop salad

Raw and vibrant salad, deliciously fresh and crunchy

Asparagus/green bean salad

Nothing screams spring more than asparagus, a quick blanching dressed simply with southern groves EVOO, lemon juice & zest w/ almonds and egg

Chickpea salad

It ain't a Peoples salad bar without the chickpeas.

Big in size and flavour, buttery and creamy W.A Ord River chickpeas cooked in turmeric dressed simply w/ cumin seeds evoo salt & lemon juice
