Join Australian fashion design legend Akira Isogawa for a textile workshop. Spend one hour with Akira, getting to know his novel approach to textiles and learn his signature spiral shibori technique, a technique you can apply to your own crafts and fashion. Akira has been internationally known since the late 1990s for his unique approach to fashion which marries his knowledge of Japanese textiles through his own heritage with his Australian lifestyle. Basic sewing skills required. BYO fabric approximately 1 metre by 1 metre.
