ROSE CALLAGHAN - YOUNG, DUMB AND FULL OF MUM

Multiple Sessions

In a truly inspiring world first Rose Callaghan (WINNER Sydney Fringe ‘Best Comedy’) got pregnant and had a baby during lockdown. Grappling with her transition to motherhood in a society that’s still attached to old school gender roles was a shock. In her search for answers, she stumbles across an ancient VHS her mum made in 1985.

After successful runs at Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festival delighting audiences and receiving critical praise, Rose brings her latest show “Young, Dumb and Full of Mum” to Perth Comedy Festival for one show only.

“Gag filled” and “raucous", Rose’s 5th show is hilarious - whether you’re already a parent, planning to be or have no wish to breed whatsoever.

Rose is a Melbourne-based comedian you may know from many trips to Perth for Fringeworld, regular appearances on radio (triple j, ABC, Triple M, HIT Network, Double J) or podcasts (Matt & Alex, Josh Earl's DYKWIA, her own cult hit Swipe Night).

**BRING YOUR OWN BABY (optional)!**

To encourage new parents, people over 30 and people who love day drinking, Rose is putting on an early show. Babies are welcome and pram parking will be available.
