Live performances by:

◉ BAD WHIP
An improvisational dance music duo featuring drummer Alex Reid and keyboardist Josiah Padmanabhan from prominent Perth outfit, Grievous Bodily Calm.

◉ CARLTON/PASS/VALENTI TRIO
Recent Freedman Fellowship nominee, Jessica Carlton (trumpet) is joined by WAM award winners, Talya Valenti (drums) and Kate Pass (bass). Fresh out of the studio, the group will present new works and improvisations for chordless trio.

◉ NICK ABBEY TRIO
An award-winning trio featuring renowned bassist Nick Abbey and pianist Chris Foster who’ll be joined by Peter Evans on drums who’s recently returned to Perth from New York. They’ll present a modern take on the classic piano trio with striking acoustic jazz compositions including selections from Phantoms (Nick Abbey, 2019), In Motion (Chris Foster Trio, coming 2022), as well as brand-new tunes.

◉ PENNY KING & TOM O’HALLORAN
One of WA’s premier jazz vocalists Penny King teams with acclaimed pianist Tom O’Halloran for some diverse arrangements of standards and contemporary tunes.
