OPENING NIGHT #1, 2019

We have a ‘triple threat’ to kick-off our “Opening Night” series in 2019; Craft Beer, Cider AND S pirits! It will be a trifecta of tasting goodness on Tuesday 12th February, with three producers from the Lot 100 collective, based in the Adelaide Hills, showcasing their wares for one night only.

In the beer corner, the highly-regarded Mismatch Brewing will be featuring its brand-spanking, now core-range IPA and three new seasonals – Archie’s Red IPA and two Berliner Weisse variants, fruited with Mandarin and Strawberry. The brewery’s full range will also be pouring at this event, including the Lager that took out Champion Beer at the 2018 ‘Indie’s’ (formerly known as the Australian Craft Beer Awards), and the multi-award-winning Pale Ale. Since 2013, Mismatch has built a solid reputation by crafting honest, consistent and eminently enjoyable beer.

Also calling Lot 100 home is the Hills Cider Company, a base that gives them access to the very best fruit from generations of local apple and pear growers. The cidery’s two regular lines will be part of our tasting on the 12th, along with an Apple & Cherry Cider that we'll be launching in WA that night; all three products reflecting the ‘land to hand’ quality control that’s put these guys at the forefront of the Australian cider scene.

Last but definitely not least, the artisanal spirits of Adelaide Hills Distillery will be an additional treat at our first “Opening Night” for 2019. Founder Sacha La Forgia travelled the world for six years, working in wine and exploring the alchemy of distilling, before returning to Australia to hand-craft a copper still from the ground up. His 78 Degrees and Something Wild Green Ant gins are infused with a range of unique, Australian botanicals and are both exceptional small-batch spirits.
