ONE MORE TIME ❤️
LONDON ELEKTRICITY
The world knows him as the co-founder and CEO of Hospital Records (and Med School). Mastermind behind a multi-award-winning podcast, producer and DJ. Ever the humble humanist he says he’s just a grateful member of humanity.
Tony Colman (no ‘e’!) cuts a formidable figure. There’s no question he has been instrumental in the development of DNB as we know it today, cultivating a first-class reputation as both a producer and DJ, continuing to push the genre he fell in love with in the mid-90’s.
His debut album ‘Pull The Plug’ was released on Hospital in 1999, with the follow up ‘Billion Dollar Gravy’ in 2003 and ‘Power Ballads’ in 2005. 2008 London Elek = ‘Syncopated City’, 2011 = ‘Yikes!’ (which features the vocal talents of Swedish vocalist Elsa Esmeralda and was launched at the iconic Hospitality Brixton).
Along the ride there’s been London Elektricity live (performing as a band with vocal soul legend Liane Carroll) as a live band and soundtracks to Street Child World Cups but it was ‘Billion Dollar Remixes’ his FOURTEENTH (!) album celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Billion Dollar Gravy which got him back out doing enormous DJ shows and we, dear One More Time crew, are one of them.
