Gabriel Muñoz is carving out a space in the UK scene with raw energy and deep, driving grooves, blending distinct percussion, rolling 4x4 rhythms and warm basslines into a hypnotic, forward-thinking sound rooted in the underground. Captain Wallop launched his journey in 2024 with a breakthrough EP on Heavy Hitters, shaped by years immersed in the Leeds underground and a deep-rooted dancefloor education. His instantly recognisable style, built on innovative sampling, musical expertise and a light-hearted attitude, has resonated with a growing audience, showcased through his soundscape series that explores the connection between music and culture and has been backed by widespread industry support.
