Hear success stories
You’ll hear from two recent Curtin Ignition graduates, who will share their journeys:
- Louise Mansell is a clinical child psychologist, who developed a therapeutic teddy bear for children who’ve experienced trauma. Since completing Curtin Ignition, Louise has received an Innovation Booster Grant and is preparing to launch her product in mid-2025.
- Corey Gaidzionis is the founder of the Big Emotions Academy, a comprehensive emotional educational platform. Corey is now testing his program in schools before a wider rollout in 2026.
What is Curtin Ignition?
Curtin Ignition is a transformative weeklong program (this year running 30 August – 5 September) designed for aspiring entrepreneurs, existing business owners, researchers, and innovators. The program provides practical teaching sessions, expert clinics, personalised mentoring, and valuable networking opportunities with WA’s leading entrepreneurs and innovation community.
Scholarship opportunities
The City of Cockburn is funding TWO full scholarships valued at $3,750 each for local innovators and entrepreneurs to attend Curtin Ignition 2025. Learn about eligibility and how you can apply at this information session.
