Prepare for a sensory overload in the Masters of Senses demonstration kitchen with chef Richard Overbye

WA based, chef Richard Overbye (known for his incredible Capsule pop-up's with Matthew Sartori) will take to the Winning Appliances kitchen as part of the Master of Senses series. This series explores the five senses through an interactive demonstration with tastings for guests and insights and instructions on how to recreate the dishes at home. 

The distinct flavours, flexibility and textures of seafood will take centre stage at this demonstration. Overbye’s expertise and passion for seafood will come to life in an interactive and entertaining food experience.

Guests will be welcomed with wine on arrival, be invited to taste the flavours of the demonstrated dishes, and enjoy an in-depth Q&A - best of all, you'll and leave the demonstration with recipe cards to re-create the dishes at home.

About chef Richard Overbye

Hailing from Perth, Richard completed his apprenticeship at Must Winebar and Restaurant Amusé before moving to Europe to work at Maaemo, Oslo and Kitchen Table, London. Upon moving back to Australia, he was head chef at Amaru, Melbourne for 4 years before returning home to pursue opening his own venue in Perth. In the meantime he has been holding a series of pop up events, including one half of the ‘Capsule’ event series. With a fine dining background, he aims to make fine dining approachable, fun, interesting and informative, and enjoys the connection to a time and a place that food can create.
