Lost ‘n’ Sound: Chapter 7 ft. Upper90!

The seventh chapter in the book of Lost ‘n’ Sound marks our return from hiatus as we are joined by Berlin-based producer and DJ, Upper90, for a summer dance in the heart of East Perth.

Upper90, aka Luca Twomey, is a Berlin-based producer and DJ originally from Naarm/Melbourne with a sound focused on high energy and heavy rhythms inspired by the European trance & techno scene. The unmistakable Upper90 sound that has European dancefloors moving ‘til the AM, features intimate vocals and 80’s style synths, paired with hard hitting 909 drum patterns. With a recent move to Berlin under his belt, he has already made a dent in the dance music industry, with gigs at Mondo Disko, OXI, Ueble & Gefahrlich and Junkyard Electronic, as well as support from the likes of DJ Heartstring, Narciss, BadBoombox and Malugi. It’s through his love for all things trance and techno, and his ‘euphoric’ approach to production that landed Luca’s latest EP, “Nights With U,” on London-based mega-label, Method 808. We can’t wait for what Upper90 has in store for his debut Boorloo/Perth show!
