Join us for a night where the boundaries between performer and audience disappear as Perth’s newest spiritual jazz collective, Edward, leads the charge with a genre-bending mix of dub, Afrobeat, R&B, and free-flowing improvisation. Their sound is hypnotic yet energising – rhythms that make you move, melodies that pull you inward, and textures that swirl like smoke in the dim light.
The ensemble features Grace Barbé (The Cat Empire) – bass; Benjamin Witt (The Chemist, POND, Empire of the Sun, Mei Saraswati, Rabbit Island) – guitar; Jessica Carlton (Jessica Carlton Sextet) – trumpet; Ben Vanderwal – drums.
