World’s most popular and influential genre of music, Hip Hop, turns 50 years old on the 11th of August! 

To celebrate this very special occasion we are throwing a real HIP HOP JAM on Sunday 13th of August, 4PM to Midnight,  at the Leederville Hotel featuring a huge lineup of Perth’s top Hip Hop DJs across two zones. 

Perth has not had an event like this, playing Hip Hop sounds from its infancy in 1973 that started in the Bronx borough of New York as an underground sound to the biggest genre of music across the world over the decades to now.

Downstairs will play Old School Hip Hop classics and underground sounds from 1973 to 1999 and Upstairs will play all your favorites from the year 2000 to now!

Downstairs DJs: Adroc, Armee, BRhodes, Charlie Bucket, Cut Nice, Mizhap, Ramoe & Waves

Upstairs DJs: Aslan, Bace Kadet, Bodie, LStreet, Midsole, Profits

You will also find BBoys and BGirls cutting it up on the dancefloor, MCs and Beatboxers on Mic, Live Hip Hop Art and Soul Food served at the venue.
