ALAN BRAXE & DJ FALCON

Alan Braxe and DJ Falcon, are indisputable architects of the French Touch - the emotive house music conjured from looped samples with an inimitable Gallic flare that emerged from Paris in the mid 90s. In 2022 these two legends presented their first ever collaboration as Braxe & Falcon.

Both had pivotal, separate collaborations with Daft Punks Thomas Bangalter - Falcon with Bangalter as Together (“Together,” 2000 & “So Much Love To Give,” 2002), Braxe with Bangalter as Stardust (“Music Sounds Better With You,” 1998). Braxe went on to release a dazzling catalogue of upper cuts - solo outings, collaborations, productions and remixes for others. Falcon meanwhile pursued DJing, on a seemingly never-ending DJ tour of the most renowned surfing destinations in the world.

That Braxe & Falcon should live separately abundant careers spanning decades only to keep coming back to the spirit of their origins feels appropriate given the form much of their music has taken - reverential but perpetually evolving. By the same token it’s not hard to imagine the tracks that come out of their combined endeavor looping into the sunset, indefinitely.

MARK BLAIR

Carving out a solid reputation as one of the UK and Ireland’s most exciting acts, DJ/Producer Mark Blair has gone from strength to strength in recent years. With a consistent stream of club ready hits and international parties building him a strong following and promising much more to come.

After cutting his teeth at underground parties and illegal raves in Belfast, Mark has been building up a prolific string of defining releases such as “I Miss the Old Kanye”, “Biggie was a Jazz Fan”, “This is Acid man”, continually showing himself as a gifted producer with a finger firmly on the pulse of dance music. Coining his own signature style of bombastic House, indebted to the golden era and refitted with modern production techniques, Mark has created his own brand, one that’s in high demand.

BOOGS

Boogs is one of the true leaders of Melbourne’s underground club scene. Supremely talented, original and never reliant on trends, fads or visiting international DJs, his 7am residency at Revolver Sundays is one of the most celebrated, unique and infamous gigs in town. His three-hour sets attract a vibrant, loyal and seriously up-for-it crowd each and every week.

Combining his incredible technical skills with an ear for the best new music, Boogs has consistently maintained a standard in excellence that sets him apart as a truly gifted DJ, inspiring both young and old generations alike.

Always visionary and ahead of the pack with the freshest sounds, his reign over the Melbourne club scene spans almost 25 years and his influence stretches across Australia and beyond. The hugely popular Boogs' Podcast is helping to develop a whole new legion of fans as more and more people discover his music online. As Boogs continues to inspire and entertain, the talent and vision that cemented his place at the top of Melbourne club culture is now more prominent than ever.
