Adults can purchase tickets for $15 each.
Senior concession for $12 each.
Kids aged 16 years and under are FREE entry. 

ALL ATTENDEES MUST PURCHASE A TICKET FOR THIS EVENT. 

Please note: If a family is coming to the event with kids, please allocate FREE tickets in your booking for each child coming to the event. 
 

Food and Farm Fest Details

The SJ Food and Farm Fest will be held Saturday 6th May 2023 at the Serpentine Horse and Pony Club, Karnup Rd, Serpentine WA 6125 from 10am - 4pm. 

From show jumping, hacking events and carriage driving to alpacas, goats, sheep, donkeys and poultry we have the animal sections to delight all of our visitors.  The fabulous Andalusians with riders in full regalia, the young bloods showing off their farming skills in the Young Farmers Challenge along with enthusiastic sack racers, egg and spoon races, human wheelbarrow racers and hopeful pumpkin rollers to log chop demonstrators will be on display all day long in the main arena.  Thanks to the generous support of many local businesses cash prizes will be awarded to all winners in the main arena.

The Food and Farm Pavilion, sponsored by the Peel Harvey Catchment Council, will provide you with examples, from eggs, preserves, fruit and vegetables, baked surprises to flowers. In the Eric Senior Pavilion, the SJ Camera Club competition sponsored by the Peel Development Commission, is looking to award the best shots of SJ Agriculture and tourism in the Shire and Earthwhile Australia wants to show you, up close and personal, the friends that live in our soil to keep it vibrant and productive.  Meanwhile, the Serpentine Historical Society will provide a dose of nostalgia with memorabilia from times gone by.

The Bendigo Bank Byford Kids Zone has games and activities for all the kids and on the main stage there are performances all day long and it is all FREE.

There are over 140 stalls, including over 30 stalls from the SJ Farmer’s Market, and dozens of food vendors to satisfy every taste. Interactive displays. The SJ Men’s Shed and other member sheds will provide demonstrations as well as provide items for sale.

And for the little ones who dream of riding that fairy tale horse there will be pony rides all day long. With so many family friendly attractions, displays, competitions, entertainment, Saturday 6 May is not to be missed. A fun-filled day for the whole family!
