ABOUT THE NIGHT 

ELECTRIC SYMPHONY returns to QV1 on Friday 13 November 2026; bigger, bolder and louder than ever.

For one night only, Perth's iconic multi-level Plaza transforms into an open-air colosseum of sound and light, where symphony collides with iconic rock, pop and the biggest dance anthems of all time. 

Experience golden-hour drinks and settle in as the Plaza comes alive around you. Pop-up bars across the precinct will be pouring South West wines, cocktails, summer spritz plus all the classics, alongside a selection of food stalls to explore throughout the night. Across three live acts, the energy builds from sunset drinks and orchestral classics into house anthems and a full-scale Friday night party under city lights.

ACT I. MIXTAPE REIMAGINED

For the opening performance, Perth Symphony raids the mixtape and rebuilds the classics with a 22-piece orchestra, powerhouse vocalists and gospel choir. Nostalgic, unexpected and completely alive, MIXTAPE REIMAGINED celebrates decades of iconic music. Think the best of Bowie, Prince, George Michael, INXS and Eurythmics.

ACT II. HOUSE PARTY

Led by PSO’s electrifying strings, alongside DJ Wildflower and live vocalists, this act blurs the line between concert hall and Ibiza dancefloor. From the golden age of house music to the biggest dance anthems of a generation, HOUSE PARTY brings the sounds of Daft Punk, Moloko and Armand Van Helden through to Eric Prydz, Calvin Harris and Avicii to life.

ACT III. DJ FADJ 

One of Perth’s most celebrated DJs takes control of the colosseum for the final act, where big dance records collide with live brass and unexpected musical moments to close out the night.

Electric Symphony is a boutique festival-style experience, not a seated concert. This is a night designed to roam, drink, eat and connect across QV1’s stunning multi-level Plaza. Whether you find yourself front and centre for every act, taking in the action from afar, or bar hopping and socialising as the night unfolds… there’re no rules, it’s your night, make it your own.
