Like a comedy night, but the material is us.

Drinks & Downloads is a cheeky interactive night for women who have reached the age where pretending everything is fine has become far more exhausting than simply telling the truth.

Hosted by Tarryn Raath from Bright Life Project, the Perimenopause Edition brings her online comedy into a room full of women who aren't sure if they get it but they don't care at this stage. Fun is the priority and f* everything else.

What is interactive comedy?

It’s a combination of stand-up-style storytelling, live sketches, some audience stories, ridiculous midlife incidents and possibly an opportunity to get involved if you like.

This is not a menopause seminar with jokes stapled to it. You won’t be handed a workbook, asked to optimise yourself or told to drink more water.

It’s a night out. A room full of recognition. A chance to laugh at the strange, infuriating and unexpectedly liberating experience of becoming a midlife woman.

Bring a bag of your favourite snacks

This is theatre style seating so if you like to munch on food while you watch bring some popcorn, crisps or easy snacks.

Cater for your own cravings, intolerances and deeply personal requirements. No mystery canapé. No sad dietary substitute. No obligation to share.

Drinks will be available to purchase from the bar throughout the night. Please note that the venue does not allow BYO alcohol.

On the night

Arrive from 6pm, get yourself a drink, catch up with friends and visit the interactive stations. You’ll be able to submit a funny story or question for the show.

DOORS & BAR 6PM

SHOW 7.00–8.00 PM (maybe a little later if we're having fun)
