On Wednesday 12 February 2025, the City of Cockburn, in partnership with the Waalitj Hub and Henderson Alliance — and sponsored by Babcock and Adisyn—will host an event to connect First Nations businesses with defence industry enterprises.

We are committed to advancing reconciliation and building a more inclusive community, fostering strong and respectful relationships across all cultures.

The goal of this Defence Supplier Yarn is to create exciting opportunities for First Nations businesses to establish a strong and impactful presence in local defence supply chains.

• Attend as an exhibitor, which means you’ll have a stand to display your business and the supplier engagement opportunities available
• Meet First Nations business owners who are interested in supplying to the defence industry
• Network and make new connections with potential partners and suppliers.

Defence suppliers will have dedicated exhibitor stands, allowing First Nations businesses to meet and pitch to potential partners directly. Following the event, a networking session will provide an opportunity to engage in deeper discussions and explore potential collaborations.
