The City of Canning is extremely excited to announce that the highly successful Camco Engineering Mayor's Charity Gala Dinner will return to this year's calendar of events on Friday 8 November 2024. The gala dinner venue this year is the Riverton Library, which will be turned into a sophisticated dining space for the evening. 

With one in five Australians identifying with disability, we are partnering with our business community to deliver a gala civic dinner, raising vital funds for Good Sammy - a much loved Western Australian charity based right here in the City of Canning.

The gala dinner will feature entertainment from local Perth band Switch, comedian Peter Rowsthorn and Master of Ceremonies, Tim Gossage. 

All proceeds from ticket sales and fundraising activities (including a silent and live auction) on the night will go directly to Good Sammy. Funds raised will support new initiatives including the delivery of traineeship programs in Canning schools for students with disability.
