Holli Scott Album Launch – Weather and Weeds Ft. Tal Cohen and Jamie Oehlers

Award-winning Australian vocalist and composer Holli Scott will launch her latest album, Weather and Weeds, for PIJF 2024.

For this special performance, Scott is joined by two world-renowned musicians, Perth-based Jamie Oehlers on saxophone, and US-based Tal Cohen on piano. This eight-track album of original compositions brings to life the vivid imagery woven into its lyrics and spoken-word passages, which are tied together by the overarching theme of the album’s title.

Weather and Weeds captures relationships/landscapes as they grow and change around us, and how it feels as we stand witness. The intimate setting of saxophone, piano and voice in this rare combination of world-class musicians makes for an enchanting performance that will draw you in and hold you spellbound.

This performance will be visually enhanced by beautiful paper floral displays from Fremantle’s Jotterbook Flowers, and an interpreter from AUSLAN Stage Left will be present throughout. This will be an immersive experience not to be missed.
