Led by Choral Director Neville Talbot and Breaksea directors Matt Reuben James Ward & Pia Harris, participants aged between 9 and 18 years will be provided with opportunities for social connection, participation in music and performance, and to learn Noongar language.
Across Term 3 & 4, the ensemble will work closely with local and visiting performing artists to rehearse and stage The City of Albany presents New Years' Eve Picnic & Fireworks. Please note you do not need to perform in the production to participate in rehearsals.
Participation opportunities:
● Weekly sessions held after school hosted at Southern Edge Arts
● Sessions will provide young people with opportunities to participate in:
○ mindfulness, sharing stories and ideas,
○ learning from professional artists (singing, music, performance skills),
○ learning Noongar language.
