Your favourite terrific Halloween adventure is back at Perth Zoo by popular demand!
Get ready for two nights of family-friendly Halloween fun as Boo at the Zoo takes over Perth Zoo on Friday 30 October and Saturday 31 October 2026.
Dress up in your favourite spooky costume, grab your treat bag and enjoy an after-hours Zoo adventure filled with trick-or-treat stations, roving entertainers, face painting, scare-ousel rides, music, dancing and so much more!

Time: 4:00pm to 8:00pm*

Boo at the Zoo will be held on Friday 30 October and Saturday 31 October 2026.
When purchasing tickets, make sure to pick your preferred date (subject to availability, limited capacity only). First in, best dressed. Please note that each ticket is valid for one event date only and cannot be used on the alternate night.
The event runs from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Perth Zoo will close to general visitors at 3:00pm and reopen at 4:00pm for Boo at the Zoo ticket holders.
Tickets are $38 per person plus booking fee for visitors aged 2 years and above.

Yes! This is a special ticketed event. All attendees aged 2 years and above will need a valid ticket.

Plenty of spooktacular fun! Your ticket includes entry to Boo at the Zoo, a trick-or-treat trail for kids, extended animal viewing, carousel rides, face painting, the Monster Mash Disco, roving entertainers and themed Halloween zones.
Children aged 2 years and over require a ticket. Children under 2 are free.
Yes, costumes are encouraged. Please choose family-friendly costumes that are safe and comfortable for walking around the Zoo. Check out the Zoo Shop for a spooky outfit for the event.
We’ve extended animal viewing until 6:00pm giving you more time to see your favourite animals. The Nocturnal House will close at 5:00pm, bird aviaries will close at 5:30pm and the Australian Wetlands will close at 5:45pm.
Yes, Boo at the Zoo is designed as a family-friendly Halloween event with fun activities, entertainment and themed areas suitable for children and families.
Yes, there will be trick-or-treat stations around the Zoo for kids to enjoy. Make sure to bring your own trick-or-treat bag goodie bag.
Treats offered at Boo at the Zoo may contain nuts, gluten, eggs, milk and other allergens. We cannot guarantee that treats or trick-or-treat stations will be allergen-free. Please check the product packaging before your child consumes any treat and closely supervise children with allergies. If your child has a severe allergy, please bring their required medication and consider bringing suitable treats from home.
