In the early 2000s The S-Man and Don Migi started a Friday night at Base with one aim - To push hardcore dancehall from Jamaica fused with the sounds of Latin America that was taking the world by storm reggaeton, mixed with the sounds of Africa that the world has come to know as the afrobeats movement.

Adding in cutting edge rnb and hip hop the night was an explosive mix of real underground music from around the globe.

If you love the sounds of Jamaica, Vybz Kartel, Busy Signal, Beenie Man, Konshens, and Sean Paul mixed with the reggaeton giants Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Tego Calderon, Zion and Lenox then this night is for you.
