Go beyond the works of Our Heritage and join artists Mohammed ‘Ayo’ Busari and Aline Akundwanayo for an intimate Artist Talk + Community Gathering.

Through conversation and storytelling, Ayo and Aline will unpack the creative process behind the exhibition and the personal and cultural histories that have shaped their work.

Drawing from their Nigerian and Burundian heritage, the conversation will explore themes of memory, diaspora, migration, identity, cultural preservation and belonging, as well as the role art can play in preserving and sharing stories across generations.

More than an artist talk, this afternoon is an invitation to gather, listen, reflect and connect.
