There is no one better to start the movement than home grown pioneer Shockone

Since the release of 'The ShockOne EP' in 2009, which featured the chart topping 'Polygon', ShockOne has been one of the hottest names in the scene. 'Polygon' received major air-play worldwide with high rotation play listing on Australia's Triple J radio and BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac penning it as, “the biggest drum and bass tune out”. The three drum and bass tunes from the EP achieved the top 3 spots on Beatport’s drum and bass chart, and 'Adachigahara's Theme' stayed at number 1 on the dubstep chart for over a month.

More recently he has released tunes like City Lock feat. Ragga Twins and In This Light feat. Savoi + a huge dubstep remix of Dillon Francis & NGHTMRE. Add this onto a huge national tour and a prime time slot at ORIGIN NYE and you can see why Shockone is the king of Australian bass music

The Perth lads are fast becoming one of Australia’s “one’s to watch”. They’ve released a slew of original fire and remixes on labels like Elyisan, which are racking up hundreds of thousands of plays, plus playing slots at ORIGIN NYE and supporting Flux Pavillion and Marshmello. It’s looking like a big year for TWERL, and we’re ready for them to join the movement.
