Originally from the Bay Area, DJ Habibeats (real name Ibrahim Abu-Ali) has become a cultural bridge in the world of music. Blending traditional Arabic sounds with genres like Afrobeats, Baile Funk, House, and Amapiano, he creates an energetic and unforgettable atmosphere wherever he performs. His event series, Habibi’s House, which started in Los Angeles, has sold out venues around the globe, offering an eclectic mix of Arab, African, Brazilian, and Latin beats with club-ready remixes  .

Many diaspora communities worldwide find strength and a sense of belonging by connecting with their cultural roots, and DJ Habibeats encapsulates this beautifully. For this Palestinian American DJ, music is a means to express and celebrate his dual heritage, blending Arab and international sounds to create a fusion that reflects the “melding of the two halves” of his multicultural identity  .
